Who we are
Vista Marine is a marine engineering company working on the parts of a vessel that feed and look after the people on board: the galley, the laundry and the stainless steel work around them. The company was founded in Istanbul in 2008 and has grown into a global solution partner for shipyards, yacht builders, owners' technical teams and charter operators.
Our work covers superyachts and commercial vessels, new builds and refits. Galley Equipment is the catalogue where that work starts: every product is listed with its technical data, and every enquiry is answered by the same engineering team that carries the project through to the vessel.
Main offices in the United States and Türkiye
Vista Marine runs from two main offices, one in the United States and one in Türkiye. Between them they cover the working day from the Americas across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, so a technical superintendent, a shipyard project manager or a yacht captain can reach an engineer in a workable time zone instead of waiting for the other side of the world to open.
The two offices work as one team, on one order and one set of drawings. A project can begin with a call to the United States and end with equipment installed in a Mediterranean shipyard without changing hands along the way.
Wherever the vessel is working
Vessels do not stay in one place, and the equipment they need has to reach them where they are. From the United States to Türkiye, and from the United Kingdom to the ports of Africa, Vista Marine handles:
- Supply: galley, laundry and refrigeration equipment from established manufacturers, ordered in the vessel's own supply voltage and frequency.
- Ordering: one purchase order and one point of contact, however many manufacturers a project involves.
- Delivery: equipment consolidated and delivered to the shipyard, the port or the agent where the vessel will be.
- Technical support: specification advice before the order, and support for the crew once the equipment is in service.
- Project management: planning, coordination with the shipyard and follow-through from the first brief to handover.
A single replacement appliance for a vessel alongside in a foreign port and a complete galley for a new build go through the same process and the same people.
From the first brief to a working galley
Every project is handled from start to finish. It begins with the design brief: the vessel, the crew and guests it serves, the space available, the electrical supply and the standards the galley has to meet. From there we specify the equipment, manufacture the stainless steel work around it, coordinate delivery, install on board and remain available for technical support once the vessel is back at sea.
One team carries a project through all of those stages. The engineer who asked the questions at the start is still the one answering them at the end, which is what keeps drawings, orders and installation in line with each other.
What we build around
Built for continuous service
A galley or laundry at sea does not close for the night. Systems are selected and sized to run at peak load for as long as the vessel needs them, because there is no second kitchen down the road.
Marine-grade throughout
316L stainless steel where water and salt dwell, finishes that stand up to a salt atmosphere, and components chosen for the conditions at sea rather than for a shore kitchen.
Running costs from the start
Energy, fresh water and service intervals are part of the specification, not an afterthought. On a vessel every kilowatt and every litre is produced on board, so equipment that uses less of both pays back for the life of the ship.
One point of responsibility
From the first sketch to final commissioning, one team owns the process, so the owner and the shipyard do not have to manage the gaps between suppliers.
The manufacturers we supply
We specify and supply equipment from manufacturers with established marine ranges, including MKN for cooking, Electrolux Professional for cooking, dishwashing and refrigeration, and Miele for laundry and dishwashing. The guides explain how marine galley equipment is specified, and the catalogue lists the equipment itself.
Talk to us
Enquiries are answered by our engineering team in the United States and Türkiye. Send the vessel details, an equipment list or a drawing through the contact page or request a quote, and we will come back with a specification and a quotation.
