Hoshizaki is a Japanese manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment, best known for its ice machines. In Europe the range is supplied by Hoshizaki Europe, which publishes model data, instruction manuals and declarations of conformity for every product; the IM CUBE ice makers listed here are built in the United Kingdom, while the DSM shuttle-ice dispenser, Beermatic beer dispensers and HNC sushi display cases come from Japan.

The IM CUBE range

IM CUBE machines freeze each cube in its own closed cell, fed by a jet of water, which is how Hoshizaki produces hard, clear cubes and keeps the water circuit closed against contamination. Each model comes in four versions: the Basic Cube, the FlexiCUBE with a drain pump, the UltraCUBE with UV-C sanitization and the EliteCUBE with both. The drain pump lets the machine discharge to a drain up to 10 m away and 1.5 m higher, which on a vessel frees the ice maker from the position of the nearest deck drain. Cube size is part of the model code: -21 for XS, -25 for S, -23 for M, no suffix for the standard L cube and -32 for XL. Self-contained machines hold their ice in a built-in bin; modular IM-240 heads sit on a separate storage bin and can be stacked.

Other ice types

KM machines make crescent ice, FM machines flake and nugget ice, CM-50 cubelet ice, and the IM-65NE and IM-240NE series cylinder ice. IM-65 Q models make ball ice and LM models big and long cubes for bars. Large FM flakers and nuggets are modular heads designed for a storage bin, with air-cooled, water-cooled and remote-condenser versions.

Refrigerants and supply

Most current Hoshizaki ice makers on this page run on R290; larger modular flakers use R452A. Hoshizaki Europe publishes a single phase 220-240 V 50 Hz supply for these models, with the voltage tolerance given per model, and the I-FIT machines from Hoshizaki South East Asia are listed for 50 Hz and 60 Hz. We confirm the supply against the vessel's switchboard when quoting.

What we list

The catalogue carries the Hoshizaki models on the 2026 export price list: IM CUBE self-contained and modular ice makers, the I-FIT series, KM crescent, FM flake and nugget, cylinder and special ice types, B-series storage bins and top kits, DSM, DCM and DIM dispensers, Beermatic beer dispensers, HNC sushi display cases and 4HC water filter systems, together with the Wessamat and Santos ice crushers and Tiger rice equipment sold through Hoshizaki Europe.
