Galley equipment supplier
A galley does the same work as a commercial kitchen, but it runs on the vessel's own electrical supply, uses water carried or made on board, moves with the sea and is inspected as part of the vessel. Galley equipment is built, configured and installed for those conditions, and the differences sit on the data plate, under the base and in the materials of the parts that touch water.
Galleyequipment.co lists 1,267 products for ship, yacht and offshore galleys: combi ovens, induction cookers, bratt pans and multifunctional pans, boiling kettles, refrigeration, dishwashing and laundry equipment. Every product page carries the manufacturer's technical data, so equipment can be compared by supply voltage, frequency, capacity and footprint before an enquiry is sent.
The catalogue is run by Vista Marine, with main offices in the United States and Türkiye. One enquiry can cover equipment from several manufacturers, delivered to the shipyard, port or agent where the vessel will be.

Four checks that decide what can be ordered, before size or features are compared.
Ships typically run 440 V at 60 Hz or 400 V at 50 Hz. A 50 Hz motor on a 60 Hz supply turns roughly 20 % faster, so equipment is ordered in the build that matches the galley switchboard.
Marine units stand on feet, stands or pads that are bolted or welded to the deck, and some ranges add door-stays and rack retention so that doors and trays stay put in a seaway.
316L stainless steel belongs where water, salt and cleaning chemicals dwell. The IP rating of each unit is checked against how the crew cleans the galley.
On passenger vessels inspected under the US Vessel Sanitation Program, equipment is built and installed to USPH construction requirements so that the galley can be cleaned and inspected.

Request a QuoteGalley equipment is the cooking, refrigeration, preparation, warewashing and laundry equipment installed in the kitchen of a ship, yacht, offshore unit or aircraft. It does the same work as commercial kitchen equipment, but it runs on the vessel's own electrical supply, uses water carried or made on board, is fixed against motion and is inspected as part of the vessel.
A marine unit is ordered in the vessel's supply voltage and frequency, typically 440 V at 60 Hz or 400 V at 50 Hz, and is fixed to the deck on marine feet, stands or welded pads. Parts where water and salt dwell are best specified in 316L stainless steel, and on passenger vessels inspected under the US Vessel Sanitation Program the equipment is built and installed so that it can be cleaned to USPH requirements.
The catalogue lists 1,267 products from 11 manufacturers with marine ranges: MKN and RATIONAL for cooking, Electrolux Professional for cooking, dishwashing and refrigeration, and Miele for laundry and dishwashing. Each product page carries the manufacturer's technical data.
