The catalogue behind this page holds 869 products from three manufacturers. MKN supplies the largest share: the Optima 850 and Optima 700 cooking lines, CounterSL and HotLine, FlexiChef multifunctional pans and FlexiCombi combi steamers. Electrolux Professional brings the thermaline 90 and 900XP cooking blocks, SkyLine combi ovens, green&clean dishwashers and ecostore and Prostore refrigeration. Miele covers the laundry, with Benchmark and Little Giants washer-extractors and tumble dryers and Professional rotary ironers, plus a small group of dishwashers.
The balance is uneven, and it is worth knowing before a galley is planned around the catalogue. Cooking equipment makes up about three quarters of the list and laundry is the next largest group. Dishwashing, at 36 products, and refrigeration, at 20, are much narrower selections.
400 V is the most common voltage named on the products, followed by 380–415 V and 440 V, with a smaller group at 230 V and a handful at 480 V. Across the products that state a frequency, 50 Hz and 60 Hz divide almost exactly in half.
For a ship designed to IEC 60092-201, where the low-voltage system is typically 440 V at 60 Hz, that makes voltage and frequency the first filter rather than the last check. A 50 Hz motor run on 60 Hz turns roughly 20 % faster, so the data plate has to match the switchboard, not come close to it. The same product often appears several times on the list in different electrical builds for exactly this reason.
Most of the cooking equipment that states a depth is built to 850 mm or to 700 mm, which is the practical difference between an Optima 850 and an Optima 700 galley line. Widths run from 100 mm infill bases to a 3200 mm FlexiChef Team, and net weights from a few kilograms up to 770 kg on that same FlexiChef Team.
On a vessel that range is a structural question as much as a layout one. The heaviest single appliances belong over stiffened deck, and the naval architect needs their weights before the galley plan is fixed, not after the equipment has been ordered.
Energy management readiness is the most common feature in the data, followed by fully welded seams, network connectivity and washdown protection. AISI 316L wetted parts appear on more than a hundred products and HACCP logging on a similar number. Every Miele laundry product is listed as marine approved and offshore specified.
Seven green&clean dishwashers are built to USPH construction requirements. Under the Vessel Sanitation Program that describes equipment built so the vessel can pass plan review and inspection; the programme itself does not certify or approve individual machines, so it is not a certificate the dishwasher holds.
Refrigeration here means upright cabinets: refrigerators, freezers and thawing cabinets, not cold rooms or remote plant. Food preparation is four machines. Extraction and ventilation, ice makers, sinks and storage equipment have no products at present, so a complete outfit sources those alongside this catalogue rather than from it.
For one vessel type, the ship, yacht, boat, commercial vessel and offshore pages are the place to look instead: each carries only the part of the catalogue mapped to that type, and the differences between them are larger than the names suggest.
MKN, Electrolux Professional and Miele. MKN has the largest share with 511 products, Electrolux Professional has 238 and Miele 120, covering cooking, dishwashing, refrigeration and laundry between them.
107 products name 440 V and 264 name 60 Hz. 400 V is the most common single voltage on the list, so on a 440 V, 60 Hz vessel the voltage and frequency filters narrow the choice considerably and are worth setting first.
43 washing machines, 42 tumble dryers, 24 rotary ironers and 4 washer-dryer stacks, all from Miele and all listed as marine approved and offshore specified. Of the dryers, 36 are air vented and 6 are heat-pump models with no vent.
The FlexiChef Team multifunctional appliance, at 770 kg net and 3200 mm wide. The highest-rated single appliance is a SkyLine Premium 20 GN 2/1 combi oven at 70.2 kW.
