Modular ice makers need a bin underneath. Hoshizaki B-140SA, B-210SA and B-340SA bins hold 140, 210 and 340 kg, and top kits such as the TK-4DM, TK-4DR, TK-18D, TK-IMD2 and TK-8D adapt a head to a bin whose top does not match. Follett bins are sold without ice machines, with a stainless top custom cut for the ice maker named on the order.
Follett slope front bins hold 136 kg in the 55.9 cm wide E-300-22 up to 467 kg in the 132.1 cm wide E-1025-52, with stainless front and sides and a polyethylene-lined interior. The E-SG500S-30 and E-SG700S-30 upright bins hold 209 and 308 kg in a 78.7 cm deep body with the SmartGATE ice shield, which controls ice flow at the door.
Follett ITS ice storage and transport systems raise the bin and fill SmartCART 240 carts by gravity, up to 109 kg per cart, from 46 kg of bin capacity in the E-ITS100NS-31 to 968 kg in the ITS2250SG-60. Ice DevIce bins, the E-DEV500SG-30-75 and E-DEV700SG-30-75, dispense cube or Chewblet ice through a front chute into a SmartCART 75 with three Totes carriers.
On a passenger ship or large yacht ice often has to travel from an ice room to bars on other decks. Closed carts and gravity loading keep hands out of the ice and reduce lifting on moving decks, and each product page gives the door access needed to bring the bin in.
No. The bin top is custom cut for the ice machine named on the order, and the ice maker is supplied separately.
An adapter that mounts a modular ice maker head on a storage bin whose top does not match the head. Hoshizaki lists the matching top kit on each modular machine.
Up to 109 kg (240 lb). The smaller SmartCART 75 carries 34 kg in three Totes ice carriers.
