Sixty litres of net useful capacity in a round vessel 579 mm in diameter and 385 mm deep gives the 587177 a compact footprint for a wall-mounted pan. The body measures 1100 x 900 mm at a height of 400 mm, leaving the deck clear beneath for cleaning and drainage.
This unit is supplied specifically for an external steam network, taking steam through a 3/4" inlet at a relative dynamic pressure between 1 and 1.5 bar. That suits vessels where a central boiler plant already exists and galley heat is distributed as steam rather than electricity. The supply voltage on the controls is 230 V/1 ph/50/60 Hz with a quoted electrical load of 0.2 kW, so the electrical panel impact is minimal and the main energy flow is in the ship’s steam system. With the pan mounted off the deckhead on a wall bracket, it keeps the deck open and removes legs and plinths from the sanitation plan.
Working temperature is adjustable from 50 to 110 °C. With indirect heating through a double jacket and a double-jacketed lid, the product sees gentle, even heat rather than local hotspots. Steam consumption is quoted at 40 kg/hr, which is the number the ship’s engineer will use when balancing the galley against other steam consumers. The steam pressure limit of 1.5 bar sets the upstream control valve and safety philosophy; running outside the stated 1 to 1.5 bar band on the data plate is not an option.
Configuration is round and tilting, with an automatic tilting mechanism and motorised action with a controlled stop. Net weight is 170 kg, so the wall structure and fixings have to be designed accordingly at the yard or refit stage. The IPX6 rating against water ingress means the external surfaces and controls are specified to withstand cleaning with water jets, which is the standard practice in a marine galley.

This wall-mounted 60 lt pan is the right choice where a ship has a steam plant to supply 40 kg/hr at up to 1.5 bar and wants boiling capacity without giving up deck area. It is the wrong choice for an all-electric galley with no central steam, or for operations that routinely need larger batch volumes than 60 litres in a single vessel.
