A 1065 x 598 mm cooking surface on a 1200 mm wide body gives the 391363 a clear role as the main grill station within a 900XP line-up. At 250 mm overall height it drops in as a top-only unit, so the designer can decide later whether the support below is an open base, oven or refrigerated cupboard.

Depth at 930 mm means it follows the 900XP footprint exactly, avoiding ledges or steps between this grill and adjacent XP appliances. On a shipboard line where the front working aisle competes with traffic routes, keeping every unit aligned at 930 mm simplifies hood sizing, splash protection and the placement of deck drains and scuppers under the block. At 143 kg net weight, the unit becomes part of the galley structure once it is fixed to a plinth or bolted on flanged feet by the yard.

Supply is 400 V/3 ph/50/60 Hz. That specification allows the same model to be applied on vessels fed from 50 Hz or 60 Hz boards at 400 V, with the protective devices and cabling sized at design stage. For operators managing mixed fleets or refits over time, one product code for both frequencies reduces the number of variants to track in the equipment register and spares inventory.

The 1065 mm cooking surface sits inside the 1200 mm chassis, leaving space at the sides for stainless steel splash areas instead of exposing the plate directly to the front frame. The 598 mm depth of the grilling zone within the 930 mm body allows rear service space and any front fascia to be laid out without cutting into usable cooking area. In practice this means the extraction hood throat can follow the full 1200 x 930 mm outline, while the active hot zone remains central beneath it, helping capture smoke and grease-laden vapour.

In a galley planned around Gastronorm and tray flows, the 1200 mm span offers enough room to hold several pan footprints at once across the 1065 mm width, so the grill can handle both à la carte and batch work without feeling cramped. Where the same line carries fryers, ranges and a solid top, using the 900XP depth of 930 mm across all stations makes fabrication of side infills and end panels more straightforward for the yard’s stainless contractor.

This unit is a strong candidate where a full-width grill station is required in a 900XP block and the electrical room is already set up for a 400 V/3 ph/50/60 Hz supply. It is the wrong choice for a pantry or small-crew galley that only has space or demand for a short grill run; in those installations a narrower top releases width in the cooking block for other functions. It will also be a compromise where the vessel standardises on a different supply voltage that would force the use of transformers or non-standard switchgear.
