MKN Grill Unit 10018657 – CounterSL

Twenty kilowatts of gas power in a body only 800 x 700 x 270 mm defines the MKN 10018657 CounterSL grill module. With two work zones on a 320 x 510 mm working surface, it is set up for split production where front-of-house space is tight.

CounterSL is a low-height line, which matters aboard when equipment has to sit on a counter or in a servery rather than as a full-height battery on the deck. At 270 mm high this unit can be integrated into a buffet or front-cooking counter while keeping the chef’s sightlines over the pass. The 800 x 700 mm footprint is compact enough for smaller galleys or passenger service points where every square metre of counter length has multiple claims on it. Net weight is 87 kg, rising to 97 kg gross, so the module is substantial but still manageable for installation on a ship where lifts, door widths and structural support need checking in advance.

That is an advantage where the supporting structure may be a welded marine counter or a custom servery base built by the yard. Gross weight at 97 kg should be used in the structural check for the counter or deck support under the unit.
