A 1065 mm cooking width on a 598 mm deep surface sets this 900XP grill top apart from the smaller bodies in the range. In a single 1200 mm wide module it concentrates enough grilling area to run a main service section rather than a side station.

The 930 mm external depth is aligned with the marine 900XP cookline, so the unit can sit in a straight run without steps or overhangs along the work edge. At 250 mm in height it is dimensioned as a top-only module, ready to be installed over refrigerated bases or ambient cupboards while keeping a consistent working height across the line. For a ship’s galley this matters: matching depths simplify stainless upstands, extraction canopies and side infills, and fewer front-to-back offsets mean fewer soil traps.

Net weight is 143 kg within a 1200 × 930 mm envelope. That mass provides inherent stability once the unit is fixed, but it calls for a clear decision at design stage on how it will be secured to the deck or plinth. On a vessel where equipment has to be welded to stainless pads or mounted on a continuous foundation, a 143 kg top is not something to move after commissioning; access from the front and sides should be planned early with service in mind.

The cooking surface itself, at 1065 × 598 mm, gives a single, uninterrupted zone for grilling. On a busy hot line this allows consistent loading patterns rather than splitting production across separate small plates. At the same time, it is still inside a 1200 mm footprint, so it matches common 900XP support cupboards beneath without overhang, simplifying GN storage planning under the grill section. The 440 V/3 ph/50/60 Hz supply brings it in line with typical marine switchboards and avoids the need for a dedicated transformer where 440 V is already the galley standard.

This grill top is well suited to main production galleys that can dedicate a 1200 mm section of the 900XP line to continuous grilling on a 1065 × 598 mm surface, and where 440 V/3 ph/50/60 Hz is already available. It is the wrong choice for a compact pantry or auxiliary galley that cannot afford 1200 mm of linear space and 143 kg of single-function equipment, because in that context a shorter body frees deck length for other cooking modules or work surface. It is also a poor fit where the electrical infrastructure is based on a supply other than 440 V/3 ph/50/60 Hz and no suitable feed is planned.
