In a shipboard laundry where space and supply are constrained, that balance matters more than a headline maximum figure on paper.

This rotary ironer is specified and approved for shipboard use and for offshore installations, which is why the 3 AC 230 V 50–60 Hz connection is published clearly. Many vessels run mixed or non-standard distributions; a machine that is ordered to the correct voltage and frequency from the outset avoids transformer workarounds or derating once installed. The maximum floor load is 1,220 N at a net weight of 122 kg, and heat dissipation into the room is 4.5 MJ/h, so both the naval architect and the HVAC designer can quantify the impact on deck loading and cooling capacity rather than working from assumptions.

External dimensions are 1,032 mm high, 1,579 mm wide and 476 mm deep, making the PRI 210 relatively shallow front-to-back for its working width. The gross dimensions for transport and access are 1,374 × 1,763 × 660 mm, which should be checked against door clearances and route to the laundry. An emission sound pressure level of ≤70 dB(A) at the workplace keeps noise within a level that can be integrated into a shared laundry without dominating the space. Tested operating hours are quoted at 20,000, giving the superintendent a concrete figure for lifecycle planning when the unit runs daily.

The electric heater rating of 4.5 kW sits inside a total connected load of 5 kW on a 16 A fused 3 AC 230 V supply, aligning with the small-to-medium laundry panel sizes typical on many vessels. Minimum and maximum ironing speeds are steplessly controlled between 1.5 and 4 m/min. That spread allows slower passes for heavier flatwork at high residual moisture and faster output when feeding lighter items, without stepping outside the design 30 kg/h envelope. A recycling rate of 98% reflects the material split at end of life, which is relevant where fleet-level sustainability reporting is required.

This unit fits best where a laundry needs continuous flatwork finishing in the 30 kg/h class and has 3 AC 230 V available. It is not the right choice for a vessel with much higher linen throughput or with no suitable three-phase 230 V distribution, where a larger or differently supplied rotary ironer from the same series would be more appropriate. The option to prepare it for a payment system also makes it suitable for crew self-service laundries where usage needs to be metered.
