Being specified for offshore installations and explicitly specified and approved for shipboard use, the configuration here avoids the uncertainty of adapting a shore-only model.

From a textile handling perspective, the PRI 214 uses supple steel wool padding under an ARAMID needle‑felt cloth ironer cover. That combination supports consistent contact pressure and temperature across the full 1,400 mm working width, which matters when flatwork quality has to be maintained over long runs. The touch display control system with defined programme parameter setting lets the operator select and store repeatable ironing conditions for different linen types rather than adjusting purely by feel.
