Ironing speed is controlled between 1.5 and 4.5 m/min, so the operator can slow the belt for heavy or complex items and use the upper range when feeding simple flatwork. Emission sound pressure at the workplace is specified at ≤70 dB(A) re 20 µPa, low enough that it will sit under most machinery and ventilation noise levels in a technical space. Tested operating hours are given as 20,000, a published duty benchmark for planning maintenance and renewal over the life of the vessel.

On the finishing side, the ironer cover is an ARAMID needle-felt cloth, and the standard padding is supple steel wool, with leaf‑spring padding offered as an option where higher conformity is required. That stack is designed to maintain even contact pressure across the full 1,660 mm working width. A recycling rate of 98% is quoted, relevant when the unit is eventually removed during a refit and waste streams are being planned.

Control is via a touch display with programme setting through defined programme parameters, so laundry processes can be standardised and locked in. The machine is specified for offshore installations and specified and approved for shipboard use, which removes ambiguity when documentation is reviewed. It is also prepared for a payment system, making it suitable for self‑service crew laundries where usage is charged back.

This model is a good fit where a vessel genuinely has around 60 kg/h of flatwork at 25% residual moisture to process and can justify an 11.6 kW connected load. It is the wrong choice for a small crew vessel with limited flatwork or where the laundry cannot support the 1,110 × 2,238 × 650 mm footprint and 1,890 N floor load; in those cases a smaller ironer or different finishing concept should be considered.
