MKN Work Table 10019258 – Optima 700

Two hundred millimetres of working length on a 700 mm deep body sets the proportions of the MKN 10019258 work table apart from standard galley benches. At 700 mm height and 16 kg net weight, it is a compact Optima 700 module that fills narrow gaps in a line rather than acting as a primary preparation station.

On a shipboard line built around 700 mm deep cooking blocks, having a work surface that matches that depth matters for alignment, splash control and rail positioning. The 200 mm by 700 mm working surface defined for this table gives just enough space for a small landing area, plating point or utensil parking zone between appliances without pushing the front edge out of line with adjacent equipment. At 700 mm body height, its top sits within the same vertical band as other Optima 700 modules, so hand reach and sightlines stay consistent along the run.

The specification lists two sets of dimensions, and both are relevant when the table is drawn into a marine galley. The overall body is 200 x 700 x 700 mm, which is the footprint and clearance space that has to be reserved on the deck. The working surface is quoted at 200 x 700 x 850 mm, indicating a raised top relative to the base structure; that figure is what the designer uses when matching work heights across preparation and cooking zones. A uniform material across top and structure also simplifies welding or mechanical joining to adjacent modules where the table is tied into a longer Optima 700 block.

In those cases, longer tables within the same Optima 700 family should be specified to keep the ergonomics workable.
