Electrolux Professional Rack Type Dishwasher CC0FVY – green&clean, dual rinse rack type dishwasher, 200racks/hour, electric, 50Hz

Two hundred racks or 3,600 dishes per hour at maximum speed sets the CC0FVY as a high-throughput rack conveyor within the green&clean range. At EN 17735-compliant speed the figure is 95 racks and 1,710 dishes per hour, so the wash-up plan has to be built around which of those duty points the vessel will actually run.

On board, utilities and HVAC capacity decide far more than the nameplate throughput. This machine takes a 400 V/3 ph/50 Hz supply with a default installed power of 42.3 kW, and can be derated down to a minimum electrical power of 22.3 kW where the switchboard is constrained. Rinse water consumption is 180 l/h with the inlet water pressure specified between 1.5–6 bar, so fresh water draw is predictable even when the ship’s water main fluctuates. Galley engineers also need the heat rejection: 5,300 W of latent and 3,400 W of sensible heat at 27 °C air and 100 % relative humidity at both entrance and exit. That load lands directly on the ventilation and air-conditioning plant.

The CC0FVY is laid out around a 70 l wash tank, with pre-wash, wash and final rinse temperatures separated by design. The pre-wash zone works with incoming water between 10–40 °C to remove the heaviest soil before it reaches the main tank. The wash tank runs at 71–76 °C, and the final rinse reaches 86 °C when supplied with 50–65 °C inlet water. The boiler carries 20 kW of heating, fed by a wash pump rated at 1.2 kW and a pre-wash pump at 0.37 kW. Pre-wash tank heating elements add 7 kW in that zone. At the drain, the peak flow rate is 1.8 l/s through a 50 mm line, a figure that has to be reflected in scupper sizing and any intermediate drainage manifolds.

Physically the cabinet footprint is 1,880 x 925 x 1,785 mm, rising to 2,095 mm with the door open, and the charging aperture is 530 x 490 mm. Those dimensions matter in dishwash areas where low deckheads and structural members restrict layout. Air flow is stated as 86 m³/h at the entrance and 145 m³/h at the exit, so the hood design and airflow balance can be calculated rather than guessed. Noise is quoted below 62 dBA, which helps where the wash-up zone is open to a servery or crew mess.

The inlet water specification is narrow for a reason: hardness between 5–8 °fH (2.8–4.5 °dH) keeps scaling predictable in the boiler, and the 50–65 °C inlet temperature band underpins the 86 °C final rinse. If the vessel cannot guarantee those conditions, the installation specification has to include water treatment and preheat, or the machine will not achieve its stated wash and rinse temperatures at the published throughputs.

This is the correct choice where wash-up is a continuous, high-throughput station and the galley can justify the 1,880 mm length, 42.3 kW installed power and 180 l/h rinse water to clear up to 200 racks per hour. It is the wrong choice for a small galley washing in batches between services or one with limited electrical and water allowances; in those cases a shorter line with lower installed power will fit the deck plan and utility budget better.
