Forty baskets and 720 dishes per hour set the working pace for the Electrolux Professional 502711 undercounter dishwasher. Each cycle uses 2.5 litres of water from a 12-litre boiler, so water draw and recovery are predictable in a ship’s scullery.

On board, the 600 x 615 mm footprint and 820 mm height make this machine straightforward to position under an existing counter run, with enough clearance for the 335 mm high wash chamber to take standard racks and ware. Supply is 400 V/3 ph/50 Hz, so it aligns with vessels and offshore units that follow a 400 V, 50 Hz distribution rather than a 440 V, 60 Hz marine standard; that is a point to confirm against the ship’s switchboard before specifying. The 2–3 bar inlet pressure band and 50 °C incoming water requirement mean the ship’s hydrophore and hot water system have to be checked to sit within that window.

Installed power is 6.85 kW, of which 6 kW is in the boiler and 2 kW in the tank heating elements, driven by a 0.736 kW wash pump. With wash temperature held between 55–65 °C and rinse between 80–90 °C, the unit relies on the dedicated 12-litre boiler to lift 50 °C inlet water to sanitizing temperature without an external booster. A 23-litre washing tank underpins the recirculation side, and the 0–2.5 litre per cycle consumption figure in the data plate reflects that fresh water is only drawn for the rinse, not the main wash. Program cycle times of 90, 120 and 240 seconds give three throughput modes within the same hardware envelope.

External dimensions of 600 x 615 x 820 mm and packaging at 690 x 620 x 900 mm matter when the machine has to pass through narrow service corridors and hatches; those are numbers the yard or refit team will check against door and stair clearances. Noise is quoted at 61 dBA, which is relevant where the dishwasher sits open to a servery or pantry rather than in a closed wash-up room. The 20.5 mm drain line size must match the local drain stub or be adapted in a way that does not compromise fall or cleanability.

This model is a good fit for smaller galleys, pantries or bars that need up to 40 baskets per hour on a compact footprint and already have a 400 V/3 ph/50 Hz supply. It is not the right choice where the requirement runs to continuous high-volume warewashing or where the ship’s electrical standard is 440 V/60 Hz; in those cases a hood or rack conveyor machine, or a marine-coded unit, should be considered.
