Twelve minutes for the shortest programme and a rated 190 plates per hour set the working rhythm of the PFD 409 [WB Offshore]. Fresh water use is specified at 17.5 litres per wash cycle. Inside, usable space in the wash cabinet is 520 mm high and 530 mm wide, with 474 mm usable depth on the upper basket and 505 mm on the lower. Construction uses a stainless steel front, lid and side panels, with a galvanised rear panel that will generally stand against furniture or a bulkhead. The mains connection cable is 1.7 m long, which has to be considered when positioning the unit relative to the local distribution box. On the waste side, a DN 22 drain pump with a maximum head height of 100 cm from floor level works with the 150 cm drain hose to reach a nearby gulley or sink line, while the fresh-water inlet hose is also 150 cm long.

Control is via the M Touch Flex system, with 7 dishwashing programmes and a maximum delay start of 24 hours where operation has to be scheduled around manning. Service life is specified at 28,000 wash cycles, a relevant figure for vessels planned on multi-year deployments. Independently tested virucidal efficacy and verified hygiene performance support documented sanitation regimes offshore, and WiFi connectivity, where available in the region, allows integration into monitoring or reporting tools.
