Laundry infeed at the front and outfeed at the back define the workflow: the PRI 318 is intended for a through-feed installation with clear space behind the machine for discharge and stacking. External gross dimensions of 1,388 x 2,576 x 1,096 mm and a gross weight of 492 kg matter at the yard stage for transport, installation and any lifting plan. A recycling rate of 98 % is quoted, which is of interest where end-of-life planning and material recovery are part of the project brief.

This ironer is the right choice where a vessel carries enough cabin, restaurant and hotel linen to justify 87 kg/h at 25 % residual moisture and has the deck length to accommodate a 2,469 mm wide, through-feed machine. It is the wrong part for a compact laundry that needs single-operator front-in/front-out working or where the electrical reserve cannot support 18.3 kW at 3 AC 440 V 50–60 Hz.
