The ability to dry 167 office mops, 111 stairway mops or 2 over jackets in one run makes this unit a good fit for vessels with a dedicated laundry and a steady flow of workwear and cabin textiles. It is less suited to very small crews or occasional-use laundries, where a smaller drum and lower connected load may be easier to justify. The exhaust-air design also assumes that a suitable duct route and make-up air path have been allowed for in the accommodation design.
