The drum volume of 73 litres and 300 mm door opening are sized for the 8 kg rating rather than being stretched, which helps in two ways aboard: loads can be turned around quickly, and the 1,600 rpm spin speed with three-dimensional imbalance monitoring is not fighting overloaded batches. Residual moisture figures of 48% and 45% are achieved with those drum dynamics, and the machine is tested to 30,000 operating hours, which gives superintendents a basis for lifecycle planning. Emission sound pressure of ≤70 dB(A) keeps noise in a range that does not dominate a compact laundry space.

Water in and out is controlled and plumbable to ship standards. The PWM 908 takes one cold and one hot feed via 1/2" hoses with 3/4" threaded unions, and discharges through a DN 22 drain pump, which simplifies connection to a grey-water system. Recycling rate is stated at 95%, useful where the owner has corporate targets on material recovery.

This unit fits well where an 8 kg turnround aligns with cabin numbers or workwear volumes, and where a 3~ 230 V 50/60 Hz, 4.4 kW connection is easier to provide than a higher-power feed. It is the wrong choice for laundries built around much larger batch sizes, where Benchmark-class machines with higher drum volumes and floor loads are more appropriate.
