On a vessel, fresh water and electrical capacity limit how many cycles can run in parallel. Cycle time dictates how much the laundry can clear in a watch. On a cold-water feed the standard programme duration is 55 minutes; with both cold and hot connected it drops to 44 minutes. ECO cycles come down to 35 minutes on cold and 33 minutes with hot connected. For cleaning teams, the Mops standard 60 °C programme runs for 61 minutes on cold and 55 minutes on hot, with water consumption between 234.3 l and 229 l depending on connection, and residual moisture on cleaning cloths quoted at 25%. Those data points frame how many of the 106 cotton mops (40 cm / 190 g) or 456 cloths (22 g) this machine can turn round between shifts.

Mechanically this is a front loader in the Benchmark series and Performance Plus range, using the M Touch Pro Plus freely programmable control. The stainless-steel front and control panel frame a 415 mm door opening with a 180° opening angle and right-hand hinge, which simplifies handling of bulky items such as 3 summer horse blankets or the 200 office mops (100 g) listed in the loading table. Heater rating is 18 kW with a total connected load of 19 kW and a 50 A fuse rating, so main board, breakers and cabling have to be planned around that draw. Water connections are three cold-water hoses at 1/2" with 3/4" unions, one hot-water hose at 1/2" with 3/4" threaded union, and two optional hard-water connections at 1/2" with 3/4" unions, giving scope to separate potable, hot and softened feeds.

This unit fits a ship that can consistently build 20 kg batches, allocate 19 kW on a 3 AC 230V 60HZ line and accept the 935 mm depth and 6089 N floor load in the laundry space. It is the wrong choice for very small crews that rarely reach a 20 kg load, or for refits where available fuse rating and deck loading sit below these published figures and would force the machine to sit idle.
