Twenty-seven kilograms at a 1:9 load ratio in a 240 l drum places the PWM 927 at the upper end of single-machine shipboard and offshore laundry. Spinning at 1100 rpm with a g factor of 541, it delivers 46% residual moisture after a cold rinse, 41% after a hot rinse, and takes cleaning cloths down to 10%.

On board, those residual moisture figures set the dryer demand and the size of the laundry’s bottleneck. Linen leaving the washer at 41% reduces dryer time and electrical load, and the published 4.7 MJ/h heat dissipation into the room gives the HVAC designer a fixed input when balancing a closed laundry against the ship’s chilled-water and ventilation plant.
