Coldline Refrigerator Master 1200 A120/2MR – 2 doors, -2/+8 °C, Remote, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2MR is a two-door refrigerator from the Master 1200 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2MR, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors, M the -2/+8 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the A120/2MR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NEK6210GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Coldline offers the A120/2MR with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Standard equipment for the A120/2MR: 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2MR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A120/2MR is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 733 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. On the A120/2MR the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. The A120/2MR is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Refrigeration data

The A120/2MR has a rated cooling capacity of 668 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 850 W at 3.9 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A120/2MR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in A120/2M has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 195 kg net against 175 kg for the A120/2MR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with glass doors as the A120/2MRV, at 205 kg net against 175 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A70/1MR holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2MR holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2MR.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. What is published is the data for the standard A120/2MR. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. The remote A120/2MR is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Accessories for the A120/2MR include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

The A120/2MR measures 1,480 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 175 kg net. Packed it is 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 201 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
