Supply is 220-230 V/1 ph/60 Hz, so it ties into the single-phase marine circuits used for lighter equipment rather than demanding a three-phase line from the main switchboard. Being tropicalised for high ambient temperatures, it is specified to keep its −15 to −22 °C band even when the surrounding store runs warm.

Externally and internally the 691390 is built in stainless steel AISI 304, with rounded internal corners to make cleaning straightforward. External dimensions with the door open extend the depth from 700 mm to 1527 mm, a figure that needs to be allowed for when the cabinet is positioned opposite other equipment or bulkheads. Height adjustment from 15 to 40 mm gives enough play to level the unit on welded or screeded decks.
