Coldline Refrigerator Master 700 XL AS70/1NR – 1 door, 0/+10 °C, Remote, 601 l

The Coldline AS70/1NR is a single-door refrigerator from the Master 700 XL range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 499 litres net. In the code AS70/1NR, AS70 is the 700 XL body, /1 the number of doors, N the 0/+10 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the AS70/1NR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NEK6210GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The AS70/1NR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Standard equipment for the AS70/1NR: 3 slides for 650x588 mm shelves, 3 plastic coated 650x588 mm shelves, lock with key. The AS70/1NR has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the AS70/1NR is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 499 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gasket on the AS70/1NR can be replaced. Temperature, 0/+10 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel. Master 700 XL cabinets have moulded rails on the chamber sides so the XL grids can be moved between 7 levels; here that gives 499 litres net against 450 litres in the standard A70/1NR.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the AS70/1NR a cooling capacity of 448 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 220 W at 1 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is automatic off-cycle. No energy label is published for the remote AS70/1NR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in AS70/1N has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 130 kg net against 115 kg for the AS70/1NR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with glass doors as the AS70/1NRV, at 130 kg net against 115 kg.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard AS70/1NR and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. The remote AS70/1NR is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Accessories for the AS70/1NR include castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

External dimensions of the AS70/1NR are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 115 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,138 mm and 135 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
