Coldline Refrigerator Master 700 XL AS70/1NRV – 1 glass door, 0/+10 °C, Remote, 601 l

The Coldline AS70/1NRV is a single glass-door refrigerator from the Master 700 XL range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 499 litres net. In the code AS70/1NRV, AS70 is the 700 XL body, /1 the number of doors, N the 0/+10 °C range, R the remote refrigeration and V the glass door. As the remote version, the AS70/1NRV has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NEK6210GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Coldline offers the AS70/1NRV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the AS70/1NRV comes with 3 slides for 650x588 mm shelves, 3 plastic coated 650x588 mm shelves, lock with key. The AS70/1NRV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 499 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. On the AS70/1NRV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the 0/+10 °C range. Master 700 XL cabinets have moulded rails on the chamber sides so the XL grids can be moved between 7 levels; here that gives 499 litres net against 450 litres in the standard A70/1NRV.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the AS70/1NRV a cooling capacity of 668 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 220 W at 1 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is automatic off-cycle. No energy label is published for the remote AS70/1NRV, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in AS70/1NV has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 145 kg net against 130 kg for the AS70/1NRV, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with solid doors as the AS70/1NR, at 115 kg net against 130 kg.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. What is published is the data for the standard AS70/1NRV. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. The remote AS70/1NRV is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Accessories for the AS70/1NRV include castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

External dimensions of the AS70/1NRV are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 130 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,138 mm and 150 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
