The Coldline A140/2MMR is a two-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C in both compartments in a cabinet of 1,203 litres gross and 450 + 450 litres net. In the code A140/2MMR, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, MM the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -2/+8 °C) and R the remote refrigeration. Its 450 + 450 litres are split into 2 chilled compartments with separate doors, so two kinds of chilled stock stay apart in one 1,480 mm wide body. As the remote version, the A140/2MMR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" + Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" + Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the EMT6165GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The A140/2MMR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Coldline ships the A140/2MMR with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2MMR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 450 + 450 litre compartments are AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A140/2MMR the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. The A140/2MMR is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Technical data

The A140/2MMR has a rated cooling capacity of 448 W / 448 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 1,420 W at 6.5 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A140/2MMR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in A140/2MM has the same temperature ranges but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 240 kg net against 220 kg for the A140/2MMR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same 2-door body is also listed as A140/2MPR (-2/+8 °C / -6/+4 °C) and A140/2MBR (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C).
