Coldline Freezer Master 1200 A120/2BR – 2 doors, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2BR is a two-door freezer from the Master 1200 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2BR, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the A120/2BR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2212GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Coldline offers the A120/2BR with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

As supplied, the A120/2BR comes with 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2BR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 733 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A120/2BR can be replaced. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A120/2BR a cooling capacity of 965 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,060 W at 4.9 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A120/2BR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A120/2B has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 210 kg net against 175 kg for the A120/2BR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with glass doors as the A120/2BRV, at 205 kg net against 175 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A70/1BR holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2BR holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2BR.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A120/2BR and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. The remote A120/2BR is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Accessories for the A120/2BR include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

The A120/2BR measures 1,480 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 175 kg net. Packed it is 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 201 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
