Coldline Refrigerator Master 1200 A120/2M – 2 doors, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2M is a two-door refrigerator from the Master 1200 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2M, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors and M the -2/+8 °C range. The plug-in A120/2M carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A120/2M.

Build and fittings

Standard equipment for the A120/2M: 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2M has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A120/2M is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 733 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. On the A120/2M the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -2/+8 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A120/2M has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class B, with an energy efficiency index of 31.1, 564 kWh a year and 1.545 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A120/2MR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 175 kg net against 195 kg. The glass-door A120/2MV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 1,219 kWh a year against 564 kWh for the A120/2M. In the same configuration, the smaller A70/1M holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2M holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2M.

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. What is published is the data for the standard A120/2M. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A120/2M can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A120/2M include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A120/2M are 1,480 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 195 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 221 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
