Coldline Refrigerator Master 1200 A120/2MV – 2 glass doors, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2MV is a two glass-door refrigerator from the Master 1200 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2MV, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors, M the -2/+8 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A120/2MV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A120/2MV.

Construction

As supplied, the A120/2MV comes with 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2MV has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 733 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. Temperature, -2/+8 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Technical data

The A120/2MV has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 67.2, 1,219 kWh a year and 3.339 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A120/2MRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 205 kg net against 225 kg. With a solid door, as the A120/2M, published consumption falls from 1,219 to 564 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A70/1MV holds 601 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2MV holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2MV.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. What is published is the data for the standard A120/2MV. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. Coldline publishes the A120/2MV at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A120/2MV include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

External dimensions of the A120/2MV are 1,480 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 225 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 251 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
