Coldline Freezer Master 1400 A140/2BRV – 2 glass doors, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 1,356 l

The Coldline A140/2BRV is a two glass-door freezer from the Master 1400 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2BRV, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range, R the remote refrigeration and V the glass door. As the remote version, the A140/2BRV has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2212GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A140/2BRV.

Build and fittings

Standard equipment for the A140/2BRV: 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2BRV has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right, glazed, as the V in the code shows. Inside and out the A140/2BRV is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 899 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A140/2BRV can be replaced. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the -18/-22 °C range.

Refrigeration data

The A140/2BRV has a rated cooling capacity of 965 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 1,060 W at 4.9 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A140/2BRV, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A140/2BV has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 245 kg net against 235 kg for the A140/2BRV, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with solid doors as the A140/2BR, at 205 kg net against 235 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A120/2BRV holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm width, against 1,356 litres in 1,480 mm for the A140/2BRV.

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. What is published is the data for the standard A140/2BRV. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. Coldline lists the A140/2BRV for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Size and handling

External dimensions of the A140/2BRV are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 235 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 261 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
