Coldline Refrigerator Master 1400 A140/2M – 2 doors, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 1,356 l

The Coldline A140/2M is a two-door refrigerator from the Master 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2M, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors and M the -2/+8 °C range. The plug-in A140/2M carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A140/2M.

Construction

Standard equipment for the A140/2M: 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2M has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 899 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A140/2M can be replaced. The A140/2M is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Technical data

The A140/2M has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class B, with an energy efficiency index of 31.6, 659 kWh a year and 1.805 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2MR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 205 kg net against 210 kg. The glass-door A140/2MV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 1,223 kWh a year against 659 kWh for the A140/2M. In the same configuration, the smaller A120/2M holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm width, against 1,356 litres in 1,480 mm for the A140/2M.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. What is published is the data for the standard A140/2M. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A140/2M can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A140/2M include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A140/2M are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 210 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 236 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
