Coldline Refrigerator Master 1400 A140/2MV – 2 glass doors, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 1,356 l

The Coldline A140/2MV is a two glass-door refrigerator from the Master 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2MV, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, M the -2/+8 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A140/2MV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A140/2MV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Coldline ships the A140/2MV with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2MV has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 899 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. The A140/2MV is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Refrigeration data

Coldline gives the A140/2MV a cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 260 W at 1.2 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 58.6, 1,223 kWh a year and 3.335 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2MRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 235 kg net against 240 kg. With a solid door, as the A140/2M, published consumption falls from 1,223 to 659 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A120/2MV holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm width, against 1,356 litres in 1,480 mm for the A140/2MV.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2MV; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline publishes the A140/2MV at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A140/2MV are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 240 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 266 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
