Coldline Refrigerator Master 1400 A140/2N – 2 doors, 0/+10 °C, Plug-in, 1,356 l

The Coldline A140/2N is a two-door refrigerator from the Master 1400 range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2N, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors and N the 0/+10 °C range. The plug-in A140/2N carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A140/2N.

Construction

Coldline ships the A140/2N with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2N has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A140/2N is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 899 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A140/2N can be replaced. Temperature, 0/+10 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A140/2N a cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 260 W at 1.2 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is automatic off-cycle. Its energy label is class B, with an energy efficiency index of 30.9, 644 kWh a year and 1.764 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2NR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 205 kg net against 210 kg. The glass-door A140/2NV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 1,208 kWh a year against 644 kWh for the A140/2N. In the same configuration, the smaller A120/2N holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm width, against 1,356 litres in 1,480 mm for the A140/2N.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A140/2N and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. Coldline publishes the A140/2N at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A140/2N include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

The A140/2N measures 1,480 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 210 kg net. Packed it is 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 236 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
