Coldline Refrigerator Master 1400 A140/2NV – 2 glass doors, 0/+10 °C, Plug-in, 1,356 l

The Coldline A140/2NV is a two glass-door refrigerator from the Master 1400 range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2NV, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, N the 0/+10 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A140/2NV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A140/2NV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Build and fittings

Coldline ships the A140/2NV with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2NV has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right, glazed, as the V in the code shows. Inside and out the A140/2NV is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 899 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. On the A140/2NV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the 0/+10 °C range.

Cooling and energy

The A140/2NV has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with automatic off-cycle defrost. Its energy label is class D, with an energy efficiency index of 57.9, 1,208 kWh a year and 3.309 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2NRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 235 kg net against 240 kg. With a solid door, as the A140/2N, published consumption falls from 1,208 to 644 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A120/2NV holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm width, against 1,356 litres in 1,480 mm for the A140/2NV.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2NV; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A140/2NV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A140/2NV include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

External dimensions of the A140/2NV are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 240 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 266 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
