Coldline Freezer Master 500 A50/1BR – 1 door, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 417 l

The Coldline A50/1BR is a single-door freezer from the Master 500 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 417 litres gross and 290 litres net. In the code A50/1BR, A50 is the 500 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the A50/1BR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2180GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The A50/1BR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

Standard equipment for the A50/1BR: 3 slides for 42x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 42x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A50/1BR has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 290 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A50/1BR the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A50/1BR has a rated cooling capacity of 646 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 970 W at 4.4 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A50/1BR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in A50/1B has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 120 kg net against 100 kg for the A50/1BR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with glass doors as the A50/1BRV, at 110 kg net against 100 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A30/1BR holds 334 litres gross in 535 mm width and the larger A60/1BR holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm, against 417 litres in 630 mm for the A50/1BR.

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A50/1BR; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline lists the A50/1BR for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A50/1BR are 630 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 100 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 120 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
