Coldline Refrigerator Master 500 A50/1MV – 1 glass door, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 417 l

The Coldline A50/1MV is a single glass-door refrigerator from the Master 500 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 417 litres gross and 290 litres net. In the code A50/1MV, A50 is the 500 body, /1 the number of doors, M the -2/+8 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A50/1MV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 75 g of R290, GWP 3. The A50/1MV is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A50/1MV comes with 3 slides for 42x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 42x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A50/1MV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 290 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gasket on the A50/1MV can be replaced. Temperature, -2/+8 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A50/1MV has a rated cooling capacity of 406 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 46.9, 509 kWh a year and 1.394 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Its remote counterpart, the A50/1MRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 110 kg net against 125 kg. With a solid door, as the A50/1M, published consumption falls from 509 to 331 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A30/1MV holds 334 litres gross in 535 mm width and the larger A60/1MV holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm, against 417 litres in 630 mm for the A50/1MV.

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A50/1MV and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A50/1MV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A50/1MV include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

External dimensions of the A50/1MV are 630 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 125 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 145 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
