Coldline Refrigerator Master 500 A50/1NV – 1 glass door, 0/+10 °C, Plug-in, 417 l

The Coldline A50/1NV is a single glass-door refrigerator from the Master 500 range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 417 litres gross and 290 litres net. In the code A50/1NV, A50 is the 500 body, /1 the number of doors, N the 0/+10 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in A50/1NV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. The A50/1NV is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

Standard equipment for the A50/1NV: 3 slides for 42x53 cm shelves, 3 plastic coated 42x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A50/1NV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 290 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A50/1NV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the 0/+10 °C range.

Cooling and energy

The A50/1NV has a rated cooling capacity of 406 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 220 W at 1 A, with automatic off-cycle defrost. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 46.3, 503 kWh a year and 1.378 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Its remote counterpart, the A50/1NRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 110 kg net against 125 kg. With a solid door, as the A50/1N, published consumption falls from 503 to 325 kWh a year. In the same configuration, the smaller A30/1NV holds 334 litres gross in 535 mm width and the larger A60/1NV holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm, against 417 litres in 630 mm for the A50/1NV.

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A50/1NV and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A50/1NV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A50/1NV include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Size and handling

The A50/1NV measures 630 mm wide, 715 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 125 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 830 × 2,145 mm and 145 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
