Coldline Freezer Master 700 A70/1BR – 1 door, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 601 l

The Coldline A70/1BR is a single-door freezer from the Master 700 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A70/1BR, A70 is the 700 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the A70/1BR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2180GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The A70/1BR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Build and fittings

Standard equipment for the A70/1BR: 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/1BR has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 450 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A70/1BR a cooling capacity of 646 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 970 W at 4.4 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A70/1BR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The same cabinet is also listed with glass doors as the A70/1BRV, at 135 kg net against 120 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A60/1BR holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A120/2BR holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 601 litres in 740 mm for the A70/1BR.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A70/1BR; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline lists the A70/1BR for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Accessories for the A70/1BR include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A70/1BR are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 120 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 140 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
