Coldline Freezer Master 700 A70/1BRV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 601 l

The Coldline A70/1BRV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 700 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A70/1BRV, A70 is the 700 body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range, R the remote refrigeration and V the glass door. As the remote version, the A70/1BRV has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2180GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Coldline offers the A70/1BRV with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A70/1BRV comes with 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/1BRV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. Inside and out the A70/1BRV is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 450 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. On the A70/1BRV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the -18/-22 °C range.

Refrigeration data

Coldline gives the A70/1BRV a cooling capacity of 646 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,000 W at 4.6 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A70/1BRV, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in A70/1BV has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 155 kg net against 135 kg for the A70/1BRV, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same cabinet is also listed with solid doors as the A70/1BR, at 120 kg net against 135 kg. In the same configuration, the smaller A60/1BRV holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A120/2BRV holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 601 litres in 740 mm for the A70/1BRV.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A70/1BRV; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. The remote A70/1BRV is listed for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz, and other special voltages appear among its variants. Dimensions and weight

The A70/1BRV measures 740 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 135 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 930 × 2,138 mm and 155 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
