Coldline Refrigerator Master 700 A70/1M – 1 door, -2/+8 °C, Plug-in, 601 l

The Coldline A70/1M is a single-door refrigerator from the Master 700 range, holding -2/+8 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 450 litres net. In the code A70/1M, A70 is the 700 body, /1 the number of doors and M the -2/+8 °C range. The plug-in A70/1M carries its own condensing unit, charged with 90 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A70/1M with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

Coldline ships the A70/1M with 3 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/1M has a self-closing door with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 450 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A70/1M the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Temperature, -2/+8 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A70/1M has a rated cooling capacity of 406 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 220 W at 1 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class A, with an energy efficiency index of 24.9, 335 kWh a year and 0.918 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Its remote counterpart, the A70/1MR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 120 kg net against 135 kg. The glass-door A70/1MV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 389 kWh a year against 335 kWh for the A70/1M. In the same configuration, the smaller A60/1M holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A120/2M holds 1,155 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 601 litres in 740 mm for the A70/1M.

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A70/1M; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A70/1M can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Dimensions and weight

The A70/1M measures 740 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 135 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 155 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
