Coldline Freezer Master 700 XL AS70/1BRV – 1 glass door, -18/-22 °C, Remote, 601 l

The Coldline AS70/1BRV is a single glass-door freezer from the Master 700 XL range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 499 litres net. In the code AS70/1BRV, AS70 is the 700 XL body, /1 the number of doors, B the -18/-22 °C range, R the remote refrigeration and V the glass door. As the remote version, the AS70/1BRV has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NT2180GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The AS70/1BRV is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Build and fittings

As supplied, the AS70/1BRV comes with 3 slides for 650x588 mm shelves, 3 plastic coated 650x588 mm shelves, lock with key. The AS70/1BRV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 499 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gasket on the AS70/1BRV can be replaced. The AS70/1BRV is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel. Master 700 XL cabinets have moulded rails on the chamber sides so the XL grids can be moved between 7 levels; here that gives 499 litres net against 450 litres in the standard A70/1BRV.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the AS70/1BRV a cooling capacity of 646 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,000 W at 4.6 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote AS70/1BRV, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

External dimensions of the AS70/1BRV are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 130 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,138 mm and 150 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
