Coldline Refrigerator Master 700 XL AS70/1NV – 1 glass door, 0/+10 °C, Plug-in, 601 l

The Coldline AS70/1NV is a single glass-door refrigerator from the Master 700 XL range, holding 0/+10 °C in a cabinet of 601 litres gross and 499 litres net. In the code AS70/1NV, AS70 is the 700 XL body, /1 the number of doors, N the 0/+10 °C range and V the glass door. The plug-in AS70/1NV carries its own condensing unit, charged with 105 g of R290, GWP 3. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the AS70/1NV.

Build and fittings

Coldline ships the AS70/1NV with 3 slides for 650x588 mm shelves, 3 plastic coated 650x588 mm shelves, lock with key. The AS70/1NV has a self-closing aluminium door with a 105° latch and right-hand hinges, glazed, as the V in the code shows. The 499 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the AS70/1NV the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. The AS70/1NV is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel. Master 700 XL cabinets have moulded rails on the chamber sides so the XL grids can be moved between 7 levels; here that gives 499 litres net against 450 litres in the standard A70/1NV.

Cooling and energy

The AS70/1NV has a rated cooling capacity of 533 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 260 W at 1.2 A, with automatic off-cycle defrost. Its energy label is class B, with an energy efficiency index of 34.2, 489 kWh a year and 1.34 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 4.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the AS70/1NRV, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 130 kg net against 145 kg. With a solid door, as the AS70/1N, published consumption falls from 489 to 354 kWh a year.

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard AS70/1NV; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the AS70/1NV can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the AS70/1NV are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 145 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 165 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
