The Coldline A140/2MBR is a two-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C and -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 1,203 litres gross and 450 + 450 litres net. In the code A140/2MBR, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, MB the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -18/-22 °C) and R the remote refrigeration. Its 450 + 450 litres are split between compartments, so chilled stock and frozen stock are kept in one 1,480 mm wide body behind separate doors. As the remote version, the A140/2MBR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" + Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" + Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline lists the EMT6165GK and NT2180GK remote condensing units as accessories for it. Coldline offers the A140/2MBR with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A140/2MBR comes with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2MBR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 450 + 450 litre compartments are AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A140/2MBR the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. Compartment temperatures are set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A140/2MBR a cooling capacity of 448 W / 646 W (evaporating at -10 °C/-30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,690 W at 7.7 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A140/2MBR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A140/2MB has the same temperature ranges but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 245 kg net against 220 kg for the A140/2MBR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same 2-door body is also listed as A140/2MMR (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A140/2MPR (-2/+8 °C / -6/+4 °C).

Size and handling

External dimensions of the A140/2MBR are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 220 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 246 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
