The Coldline A140/2MM is a two-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C in both compartments in a cabinet of 1,203 litres gross and 450 + 450 litres net. In the code A140/2MM, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors and MM the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -2/+8 °C). Its 450 + 450 litres are split into 2 chilled compartments with separate doors, so two kinds of chilled stock stay apart in one 1,480 mm wide body. The plug-in A140/2MM carries its own condensing unit, charged with 90 g of R290, GWP 3. The A140/2MM is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A140/2MM comes with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 6 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A140/2MM has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 450 + 450 litre compartments are AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. On the A140/2MM the magnetic triple-chamber gaskets are replaceable, while racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the 100/150 mm adjustable feet are AISI 304. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the compartment temperatures.

Cooling and energy

Coldline gives the A140/2MM a cooling capacity of 406 W / 406 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 440 W at 2 A on 220-240 V 50 Hz; defrost is hot gas. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 37.8, 788 kWh a year and 2.159 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Choosing between codes

Its remote counterpart, the A140/2MMR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 220 kg net against 240 kg. The same 2-door body is also listed as A140/2MP (-2/+8 °C / -6/+4 °C) and A140/2MB (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2MM; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline publishes the A140/2MM at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A140/2MM are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 240 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 266 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
