The Coldline A70/2MBR is a two half-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 700 range, holding -2/+8 °C and -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 562 litres gross and 173 + 173 litres net. In the code A70/2MBR, A70 is the 700 body, /2 the number of doors, MB the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -18/-22 °C) and R the remote refrigeration. Its 173 + 173 litres are split between compartments, so chilled stock and frozen stock are kept in one 740 mm wide body behind separate doors. As the remote version, the A70/2MBR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" + Ø 3/8" delivery and Ø 3/8" + Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline lists the EMT6144GK and NT2178GK remote condensing units as accessories for it. The A70/2MBR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

Standard equipment for the A70/2MBR: 4 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 4 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/2MBR has two self-closing half doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 173 + 173 litre compartments are AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A70/2MBR can be replaced. The A70/2MBR is run from an electronic control whose display sits flush with the panel.

Technical data

Coldline gives the A70/2MBR a cooling capacity of 368 W / 540 W (evaporating at -10 °C/-30 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 1,530 W at 7 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A70/2MBR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Choosing between codes

The plug-in A70/2MB has the same temperature ranges but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 170 kg net against 135 kg for the A70/2MBR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same 2-door body is also listed as A70/2MMR (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A70/2PBR (-6/+4 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

Coldline describes its Master Marine section as made for installation on ships and on oil and floating platforms, combining Master refrigeration with the safety specifications of the marine industry. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A70/2MBR and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. Coldline lists the A70/2MBR for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Accessories for the A70/2MBR include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A70/2MBR are 740 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 135 kg. In its packing it grows to 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 155 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
