The Coldline A70/2MM is a two half-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Combi 700 range, holding -2/+8 °C in both compartments in a cabinet of 562 litres gross and 345 litres net. In the code A70/2MM, A70 is the 700 body, /2 the number of doors and MM the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -2/+8 °C). Its 345 litres are split into 2 chilled compartments with separate doors, so two kinds of chilled stock stay apart in one 740 mm wide body. The plug-in A70/2MM carries its own condensing unit, charged with 90 g of R290, GWP 3. Coldline offers the A70/2MM with its Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

As supplied, the A70/2MM comes with 4 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 4 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A70/2MM has two self-closing half doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. The 345 litre chamber is AISI 304 stainless steel with rounded corners inside a single body insulated with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free material; the back, base and technical compartment are galvanized/colaminated steel. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. An electronic controller with a flush display sets the compartment temperatures.

Technical data

The A70/2MM has a rated cooling capacity of 406 W / 406 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 520 W at 2.4 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 40.7, 478 kWh a year and 1.31 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A70/2MMR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 135 kg net against 165 kg. The same 2-door body is also listed as A70/2MB (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C) and A70/2PB (-6/+4 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

Coldline builds the Master Marine section for installation on ships, oil platforms and floating platforms, pairing the Master series' refrigeration with the safety specifications vessels require. What is published is the data for the standard A70/2MM. The marine build has no data sheet of its own, and we confirm its details with Coldline before an order. Coldline publishes the A70/2MM at 220-240 V 50 Hz and lists a 60 Hz supply and other special voltages among its variants. Accessories for the A70/2MM include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

The A70/2MM measures 740 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 165 kg net. Packed it is 835 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 185 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
