The Coldline A140/2PR is a two-door fish refrigerator from the Master Fish 1400 range, holding -6/+4 °C in a cabinet of 1,356 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2PR, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, P the -6/+4 °C range and R the remote refrigeration. As the remote version, the A140/2PR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the NEK6210GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. Master Marine solutions appears among the variants Coldline lists for the A140/2PR.

Inside the cabinet

Standard equipment for the A140/2PR: 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 12 ABS GN 1/1 pans, lock with key, LED lighting, water drain. The A140/2PR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 899 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. Its magnetic triple-chamber gasket can be replaced, the handle is 2 mm AISI 304, and the AISI 304 feet adjust between 100 and 150 mm under the 2,085 mm high cabinet. Temperature, -6/+4 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel. Coldline developed the fish section for fresh fish, with temperature ranges and accessories for molluscs, crustaceans, fillets and whole fish. In the A140/2PR the ABS GN 1/1 pans sit over a water drain.

Technical data

Coldline gives the A140/2PR a cooling capacity of 668 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C) and a total rate of 850 W at 3.9 A on 220-240 V 50-60 Hz; defrost is electric. No energy label is published for the remote A140/2PR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A140/2P has the same temperature range but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 210 kg net against 200 kg for the A140/2PR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2PR; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline lists the A140/2PR for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Accessories for the A140/2PR include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

The A140/2PR measures 1,480 mm wide, 815 mm deep and 2,085 mm high and weighs 200 kg net. Packed it is 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 210 kg, the size to check against doors, hatches and passageways on the way to the galley or provision store.
