The Coldline A140/2MPR is a two-door multi-temperature cabinet from the Master Fish Combi 1400 range, holding -2/+8 °C and -6/+4 °C in a cabinet of 1,203 litres gross and 899 litres net. In the code A140/2MPR, A140 is the 1400 body, /2 the number of doors, MP the compartment ranges in order (-2/+8 °C, -6/+4 °C) and R the remote refrigeration. Its 899 litres are split between compartments, so chilled stock and fish are kept in one 1,480 mm wide body behind separate doors. As the remote version, the A140/2MPR has no condensing unit of its own: it connects to one sited elsewhere through Ø 1/4" + Ø 1/4" delivery and Ø 3/8" + Ø 3/8" suction pipes and runs on R452a, GWP 2,141. Coldline pairs it with the EMT6165GK remote condensing unit in its accessory list. The A140/2MPR is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Construction

As supplied, the A140/2MPR comes with 6 slides for GN 2/1 shelves, 3 plastic coated GN 2/1 shelves, 6 ABS GN 1/1 pans, lock with key, LED lighting, water drain. The A140/2MPR has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. Inside and out the A140/2MPR is AISI 304 stainless steel, apart from a galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, with 75 mm of CFC/HCFC-free insulation around 899 litres of storage whose corners are rounded for cleaning. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A140/2MPR can be replaced. Compartment temperatures are set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel. Coldline developed the fish section for fresh fish, with temperature ranges and accessories for molluscs, crustaceans, fillets and whole fish. In the A140/2MPR the ABS GN 1/1 pans sit over a water drain.

Cooling and energy

The A140/2MPR has a rated cooling capacity of 448 W / 448 W (evaporating at -10 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50-60 Hz it draws 1,420 W at 6.5 A, with electric defrost. No energy label is published for the remote A140/2MPR, whose consumption depends on the condensing unit it is paired with; a solenoid valve is supplied as standard.

Compared with other Master codes

The plug-in A140/2MP has the same temperature ranges but carries its own R290 unit: it weighs 230 kg net against 210 kg for the A140/2MPR, and is listed at 220-240 V 50 Hz instead of 220-240 V 50-60 Hz. The same 2-door body is also listed as A140/2MMR (-2/+8 °C / -2/+8 °C) and A140/2MBR (-2/+8 °C / -18/-22 °C).

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. The figures on this page are those Coldline publishes for the standard A140/2MPR; there is no separate marine data sheet, so the marine construction is confirmed with Coldline when we quote. Coldline lists the A140/2MPR for 220-240 V 50-60 Hz supplies, with other special voltages available as a variant. Accessories for the A140/2MPR include stainless steel GN 2/1 shelves, 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Dimensions and weight

External dimensions of the A140/2MPR are 1,480 × 815 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 210 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,144 mm and 220 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
