At 1430 liters gross capacity and 1441 mm width, the 725488 is the large-format freezer in the ecostore marine line, built for vessels that really use a double-door footprint. The operating band is set between −22 °C and −15 °C, so this is specified as a deep-freeze cabinet rather than a general chiller.

Aboard, that volume and temperature band intersect with ambient and power supply. The cabinet is tropicalised for high ambient temperatures, which matters where provision stores and galleys routinely sit above standard shore-kitchen design points. Supply is 220–230 V/1 ph/60 Hz, so it ties straight into the ship’s single-phase distribution without a dedicated three-phase run, which can simplify retrofits in existing provision rooms.

Externally the cabinet measures 1441 mm in width, 835 mm in depth and 2050 mm in height. With the two full doors open the depth extends to 1480 mm, so passageways and opposing equipment clearances need to be checked against that figure rather than the nominal 835 mm depth. Inside, the cabinet is arranged around 6 GN 2/1 grids supplied as standard, with 44 usable positions on a 30 mm pitch. That adjustability allows the 1430 liter gross capacity to be organised by container rather than loose product, and GN 2/1 sizing ties into the rest of a GN-based galley.

Refrigeration is ventilated, with a quoted refrigeration power of 1045 W at an evaporation temperature of −30 °C. The system runs on R290 refrigerant, with a charge of 145 g. R290 is a hydrocarbon, so the low charge figure and the cabinet’s own hot-gas defrost water evaporation are both part of the installation discussion: there is no drain line to route, but the responsible officer will still want the refrigerant inventory and ventilation characteristics documented. The hidden evaporator design keeps the coil out of the load space, preserving usable volume and reducing the surfaces exposed directly to salt-laden air and high-pressure cleaning.

All food-contact and internal surfaces are in stainless steel AISI 304, including the internal panels, with the external skin also in AISI 304. For a vessel working under structured management systems, the cabinet carries ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 in its factory certification stack, and HACCP data logging with digital control as standard. Network connectivity for remote monitoring ties the cabinet into a central supervision system rather than leaving it as a stand-alone box with only a local display.

This unit is the right choice where a vessel genuinely turns over 1430 liters of frozen stock and has the deck and vertical space to give to a 1441 × 835 × 2050 mm body. It is the wrong choice for a small crew galley or a pantry that never fills a double-door footprint; in those spaces, a smaller cabinet avoids tying up power and floor area that are never used.
