Coldline Freezer Master 1200 A120/2B – 2 doors, -18/-22 °C, Plug-in, 1,155 l

The Coldline A120/2B is a two-door freezer from the Master 1200 range, holding -18/-22 °C in a cabinet of 1,155 litres gross and 733 litres net. In the code A120/2B, A120 is the 1200 body, /2 the number of doors and B the -18/-22 °C range. The plug-in A120/2B carries its own condensing unit, charged with 150 g of R290, GWP 3. The A120/2B is one of the Master codes for which Coldline lists a Master Marine solutions variant.

Inside the cabinet

As supplied, the A120/2B comes with 6 slides for 53x53 cm shelves, 6 plastic coated 53x53 cm shelves, lock with key, LED lighting. The A120/2B has two self-closing doors with a 105° stop, hinged on the right. A 75 mm insulated single body in AISI 304 stainless steel, with galvanized/colaminated back, base and technical compartment, encloses 733 litres of storage with rounded inner corners. Racks, slides, the 2 mm handle and the feet (adjustable from 100 to 150 mm) are AISI 304, and the triple-chamber magnetic gaskets on the A120/2B can be replaced. Temperature, -18/-22 °C, is set on an electronic control with the display flush to the panel.

Cooling and energy

The A120/2B has a rated cooling capacity of 692 W (evaporating at -30 °C, condensing at +55 °C). On 220-240 V 50 Hz it draws 1,000 W at 4.6 A, with hot gas defrost. Its energy label is class C, with an energy efficiency index of 49.2, 2,500 kWh a year and 6.849 kWh in 24 hours at climate class 5.

Compared with other Master codes

Its remote counterpart, the A120/2BR, moves the condensing unit out of the galley and its heat with it; it runs on R452a, is listed at 220-240 V 50-60 Hz and weighs 175 kg net against 210 kg. The glass-door A120/2BV shows the stock without opening the door but uses 4,276 kWh a year against 2,500 kWh for the A120/2B. In the same configuration, the smaller A60/1B holds 512 litres gross in 740 mm width and the larger A140/2B holds 1,356 litres gross in 1,480 mm, against 1,155 litres in 1,480 mm for the A120/2B.

Marine version

According to Coldline, the Master Marine section is intended for ships and for oil and floating platforms, where Master refrigeration is combined with marine safety specifications. Coldline does not publish a separate data sheet for the marine build, so the data here is for the standard A120/2B and the marine specification is agreed with Coldline at quotation. At 220-240 V 50 Hz as published, the A120/2B can also be ordered with a 60 Hz supply or another special voltage, both listed as variants. Accessories for the A120/2B include 150 mm stainless steel drawers, bottle shelves, castors, an RS485 serial interface and Cosmo cable or Wi-Fi kits.

Getting it on board

External dimensions of the A120/2B are 1,480 × 715 × 2,085 mm (W × D × H) and net weight is 210 kg. In its packing it grows to 1,575 × 930 × 2,145 mm and 236 kg, which is what has to pass the doors and hatches on the route aboard.
